Latina Business Program
Launched in 2002, the Latina Business Program provides a full range of business services, presented in Spanish, to prospective and existing Latina entrepreneurs. Training and consultation is available at the WBDC downtown office and in several Chicagoland communities.
The Latina Business Program is open to any prospective or established business owner who requires instruction in Spanish.

Targeted Workshops and Seminars
The WBDC offers its core entrepreneurial training workshops and industry-specific training in the child care industry through its Latina Business Program. All workshops are presented in Spanish.

Financial Assistance
The WBDC works with business owners to develop and implement the financing strategy that will best serve their business needs. Specialized services include loan packaging and pre and post loan technical assistance. Financial assistance is available in Spanish. Child Care Business Expo – This annual event is an energizing day of business workshops and resources. Full of lively presentations, state-of-the-art industry information, networking, exclusive access to industry vendors, and more for all levels of child care providers. Referrals to Specialized Business Professionals – The WBDC has a database of professionals with expertise in a variety of disciplines, including accountants, lawyers, graphic designers, and sales consultants, who are willing to work with small and medium sized businesses.
