Diane MacWilliams founded Quicksilver Assoc., Inc., in 1976. Since starting her company, MacWiliams has consulted on a wide variety of creative business communication projects. She has brought the company and her clients through the communications revolution implementing technologies and trends consistent with the rapidly changing business environment. As businesses shift their attention to Web-based solution tools, MacWiliams has embraced the value of new media and supported ABN/AMRO, CNA and Deloitte & Touche in their efforts to communicate and build eCommerce strategies by using the Internet, Intranet and Web-based technologies.

Quicksilver was certified as a WBE by the Women's Business Development Center after 22 years in business. "There have been so many benefits I don't know why we didn't do this sooner" says MacWilliams. Taking advantage of great networking opportunities, being asked to be a sponsor of Springboard, and having the opportunity to be a panelist at the 2001 Entrepreneurial Women's Conference at Navy Pier have all been great experiences that have directly resulted in new business opportunities. On top of that Hedy and Carole have put Diane MacWilliams up for various honors that resulted in her being inducted into the Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame at the University of Illinois and being honored as the WBE representative at the WBENC Gala in Washington D.C. "I have met most of the staff of the WBDC and have been greatly impressed by their commitment, knowledge, and direction in helping women in business achieve the success they deserve and are capable of" says MacWilliams. Quicksilver has supported these efforts through design and web work for the
WBDC.

Quicksilver delivers integrated communication programs to corporations including meetings, new media, video and design services, featuring successful products such as QuickFlexTM Web content management tool, OlympusTM registration system and Webcasting.
