2008 Hotel & Transportation Information

As the Official Hotel of this year’s Conference The James, is offering a special rate of $269 for attendees.  September is one of the busiest convention months in Chicago; room rates are high and rooms downtown go fast.  We encourage you to call early to reserve a room.  The deadline for this special rate is August 2, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. or until the room block is full; please note, there are a limited number of rooms available at this rate and they will be given on a first come, first served basis.  Please call 312-660-7131 to make your reservation, and be sure to mention that you are with the “Entrepreneurial Woman's Conference” or the "WBDC" to receive this special rate. Transportation to and from The James Hotel and Navy Pier (Taxi Drop-off #2) will be provided on both days of the Conference.   The shuttle will run on 15-20 minute intervals.  Please follow the directional signs at The James and Navy Pier to be directed to the shuttles.

Parking is also available at Navy Pier.  The garage entrances are located on the North side of the facility; follow the signs to Festival Hall B parking.  Please note, the parking facilities are a separate entity from Navy Pier; at this time, there are no discounts on parking.

A complimentary coat and luggage check will be available for your use both days of the event; this will be located in the lobby at the Taxi Drop-off #2 entrance – the main entrance for our event.
