The Women’s Business Development Center will host a “Fireside Chat” with several successful women business owners on June 6.
Speakers who will share the secrets behind their high-growth businesses and how they plan to grow their enterprises are: Laurna Godwin, co-founder, Vector Communications; Tracy Hart, president, Tarlton Corp.; and Carmen Jacob, president and CEO, NextGen Information Services.
Patricia Miller, publisher and market president of the St. Louis Business Journal, will moderate the event, which salutes the WBDC’s 30th anniversary.
The event will be held at Ameren Corp., 1901 Chouteau Ave. in St. Louis; free parking is available in Ameren’s lot.
Registration begins at 3:30 p.m., with the program beginning promptly at 4 p.m.
Immediately following the chat, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., attendees can meet other business owners and WBDC corporate and community partners at a networking and Corporate Connections reception.

The Chicago-based Women’s Business Development Center is a nonprofit business development organization providing WBE (Women’s Business Enterprise) certification, procurement and capacity-building services and programs to support and accelerate women’s business ownership.
