Chief Brand and Communications Officer of Deluxe brings a passion for creativity and innovation to the board
The Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC) has announced that its Board of Directors has elected Amanda Brinkman as a director, effective February 9, 2017. Brinkman is the Chief Brand and Communications Officer of Deluxe.
“Amanda brings a unique perspective to the WBDC’s board, and we are thrilled to be working with her,” said Emilia DiMenco, President and CEO of the Women’s Business Development Center. “As an advocate for small business development, It is clear that Amanda’s background in brand marketing is more than a career, but a passion to pioneer creative growth in the industry.”
In her current role at Deluxe, Brinkman works to strengthen and grow the brand with a focus on supporting small businesses and elevating their impact in the community. Upon being recruited to her current position in January 2014, Brinkman took on the challenge of transforming the 100-year old brand into a fresh, well-known name.
“Working with organizations that do great work in the community and support small businesses is a top priority of mine, and I am honored to have been elected to the WBDC board of directors,” said Amanda Brinkman, Chief Brand and Communications Officer, Deluxe. “I’m thrilled to align with the WBDC and their advocacy work for women, minority and veteran small business owners.”
Prior to working with Deluxe, Brinkman held executive positions at UnitedHealth Group and Allianz where her interest in corporate work peaked. She also served as a consultant to General Mills with a focus on marketing department optimizations.
Brinkman is actively involved in her community through board service and volunteerism. Along with the WBDC board, Brinkman exercises her passion with service on the Make A Wish Foundation board, as well as the Children’s Cancer Research Fund board.
