WHY NOW?\nScaleUp is a vital resource for entrepreneurs looking to mitigate the impact of COVID-19. Each week the class dives into a different side of the business\, giving owners the opportunity to review\, learn and push themselves to encourage sustainability and growth.\nPROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS \n\nMarketing: Your Brand\, Mission\, and the 30 Second Pitch\nManagement: Build a Winning Team\nFinances: Financial Statements\, Break-even\, Pricing & KPIs\nCertification: Selecting the Right Certification & Contract Opportunities\n\nPROGRAM BENEFITS \nBusiness owners join a supportive business community\, offering peer-to-peer and one-on-one mentorship opportunities\, as well as in-depth business and growth planning. Course topics cover marketing\, finances\, government procurement and certification. Throughout the course participants create their business plan for sustainability and growth\, and leave with both a plan for the year ahead and life-long business connections.\n\nAfter the program\, alumni continue to receive one-on-one support\, as well as invitations to Executive Series classes; additional in-depth learning opportunities on subjects covered in the ScaleUp course.\n\nWho Can Apply? \nAm I eligible? ScaleUp participants are focused on their business growth. They typically have been in business for more than two years\, have at least two employees\, have an annual revenue of $50\,000 on average (in non-COVID times)\, and are working in their business full time. Occasionally we work with business owners who do not quite meet this profile exactly\, but definitely are on a path to growth.\n\nThis cohort is for Bronzeville based business owners\, or business owners who serve Bronzeville residents. A través de ScaleUp se prepara a los empresarios con conocimiento empresarial\, herramientas financieras\, recursos y redes necesarias para mantener negocios productivos que conserven y creen empleos\, impulsen el crecimiento económico y construyan comunidades fuertes.\nInformacion del Taller\n¿POR QUÉ SCALE UP? ¿POR QUÉ AHORA?\nScaleUp es un recurso fundamental para los emprendedores que buscan mitigar el impacto ocasionado por el COVID-19. Cada semana\, el grupo analizará diferentes áreas de los negocios\, lo que permite a los dueños de negocios la oportunidad de revisar\, aprender y planear con el fin de estimular la sostenibilidad y el crecimiento.\nPRINCIPALES TEMAS DEL PROGRAMA \n\nMercadotecnia: Su marca\, misión y su presentación de 30 segundos\nGestión: Creación de un equipo ganador\nFinanzas: Estados financieros\, punto de equilibrio e indicadores de rendimiento (Key Performance Indicator\, KPIs)\nCertificación: seleccionar la certificación adecuada y las oportunidades de acuerdos\n\nBENEFICIOS DEL PROGRAMA\nLos dueños de empresas recibirán asesoramientos en grupos\, así como tutorías y apoyo individualizado en el área de sostenibilidad empresarial y planificación del crecimiento\, mercadotecnia\, finanzas\, contrataciones gubernamentales y certificaciones. Durante el curso\, y más allá de las clases\, se ofrecerán oportunidades trimestrales para entablar contactos con los participantes\, con otros talleres y con exalumnos.
