DESCRIPTION:The Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC) is proud to present Top Shelf: Professional Services. This six-week program is sponsored by Walgreens\, a WBDC corporate partner. The program is designed to help established professional services businesses access procurement opportunities in the mass retail market. Participants will have the opportunity to pitch their services to a select group of corporate representatives who will provide valuable feedback. \nThe program is specifically targeted to businesses in the following professional service areas: \n\nTechnology (not staffing)\nTraining\nLegal\nMarketing (not promotional products)\nPublic Relations\nProperty i.e.\, Architects\, Engineers\nEnvironmental\n\nPROGRAM OVERVIEW\nUpon competition of the program\, participants will have successfully completed educational training from subject matter experts and hands-on learning opportunities in the following areas: \n\nIncrease contract wins in the retail industry\nGain insights from industry professionals\nLearn from your peers\nDevelop a proposal toolkit that includes:\n\nCapabilities Statement\nContent for proposals\nPitch Presentation Skills Training\nIntroductory Emails\nBusiness matchmaking follow-up\nPlus more…\n\n\n\nApplicant Requirements:\n\nBe an established professional services business owner interested in selling to retailers\nTwo or more years in business\nWBE Certified\nCommitted to attending 6 weeks of virtual learning via Zoom\nYou must be committed to 3 supplemental pitch training sessions via Zoom on October 3\,10\,17 from 5:30-7:00 PM Central Time\n\nLimited space is available.
