By Genny Hom-Franzen

Small-business owners who want to learn the ins and outs of selling products to national retailers should take advantage of a free program at the Women’s Business Development Center in Chicago. Called “Top Shelf: High Volume Retail Growth Insights,” the eight-week program incorporates into its curriculum expert lectures, group discussions and the support of more than a dozen like-minded business owners navigating the retail industry. It is open to women and minority small-business owners with annual revenues of at least $100,000. Click here  for more.
