The Illinois SBDC and the Women Business center at the Women\u2019s Business Development Center (WBDC) provides a comprehensive training program for entrepreneurs learning to work on their business, whether they are start-up or emerging businesses.<\/p>\n<h4>Program Benefits<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct market research to identify target customers<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen marketing strategies and brand<\/li>\n<li>Receive financial advising and loan assistance<\/li>\n<li>Get one-on-one mentoring<\/li>\n<li>Access online or in-person training<\/li>\n<li data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Participants will benefit from 2-3\u00a0<b>one-on-one financial coaching sessions with FEC as part of the program<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Six Weeks to Success<\/h4>\n<p>Over the course of six weeks, you will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create a business model canvas, including target market and value propositions<\/li>\n<li>Test your business idea in the marketplace<\/li>\n<li>Focus on key areas of your business<\/li>\n<li>Pitch to an expert panel and get feedback<\/li>\n<li>Have a one-on-one advising session<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Upon completion, you\u2019ll receive a program certificate to showcase your new business acumen.<\/p>\n<h4>Program Prerequisites<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend the 2-session virtual bootcamp<\/li>\n<li>Commit to one business idea for development<\/li>\n<li>Assess your business concept and readiness with our Director<\/li>\n<li>Bring a laptop or tablet to sessions<\/li>\n<li>Complete a program application<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Plan For Profit Bootcamp: Your First Step!<\/h4>\n<p>Take the first step in this exciting journey by registering for our Plan For Profit Bootcamp sessions.
