The Women’s Business Development Center (WBDC) can guide you through the steps necessary to create a strategic childcare business plan! This comprehensive 6 week business program provides you the tools to launch and sustain your business. Additionally, the Developing Your ChildCare Business workshop series is INCCRRA certified and childcare providers can earn up to 12 hours of professional development credits.
Cost: $99 (scholarships available)
Our early childhood education entrepreneurship services are designed to provide business insight to prospective and existing childcare entrepreneurs for home and center-based businesses. We provide business development counseling, workshops and classes, and access to capital through loan packaging and microloans to new and established providers.
Program participants will follow a step by step process to develop a business and marketing plan, policies and procedures for their childcare business, a parent handbook and a sound understanding of business financials.

Launch! Open Your Childcare Center Collaborative
The collaborative will provide mentorship and guidance to those that are seeking to open a center. Mentors will consist of both subject matter experts in the child care industry as well as contractors, architects, realtors, suppliers, and successful child care entrepreneurs. The collaborative kicks-off June 20th, 2020 and is a one-year program.
o Completed 6-Week Rise Up!/Elevate! Cohort within the last year
