Dear WBDC Family,
I am deeply saddened to share the news of Pamela Prince-Eason’s passing. Her incredible leadership as President and CEO of WBENC for over a decade has left an indelible mark on our organization and on the lives of countless women entrepreneurs and professionals across the country and especially in our region. The Women’s Business Development Center has always worked closely with WBENC, and while Pam was a remarkable leader, and she was also a mentor, colleague, and friend.
Pam’s unwavering vision and commitment to empowering women-owned businesses truly set her apart. Her bold leadership at WBENC over the past decade, during both prosperous and challenging times, created a lasting legacy. Her personal connections, heartfelt dedication to community, and inspiring energy will continue to resonate with all of us.
We cherish her visionary guidance, friendship, mentorship, and collaboration. Our memories are especially vivid of Pam leading the WBENC national conference in New Orleans last week, where we came together to learn, grow, and celebrate.
On behalf of the entire WBDC family, we extend our deepest condolences to Pam’s family, including her husband John Eason, her mother Betty, and her step-daughter Lindsey All, who is the President and CEO of WBEC South. We are forever grateful for her impactful leadership and the legacy she has left behind.
We want to assure you that WBDC’s programs and services will continue without interruption as we honor Pam’s legacy by carrying forward the work she so passionately supported. We extend our support to our colleagues at WBENC as they navigate this unexpected leadership transition. We stand with them during this difficult time and are committed to continuing our shared mission in support of women-owned businesses.
