Cheryl Vargas of Art Studio 928

Meet Cheryl Vargas,  the visionary owner of Art Studio 928, where art meets the business world. Their mission is to provide quality art products and innovative art team-building experiences incorporating technology to make creating easily accessible and fun.

Art Studio 928’s  journey began in 2014 when the Cheryl pursued a graphic arts degree, inspired by a conference pitch that defied skepticism. In 2020, they transitioned to a brick-and-mortar location, equipped for virtual events, offering custom events and celebrating diversity through ‘Mimic the Masters.’ Currently, they’re in negotiations with Veteran Affairs for a groundbreaking PTSD program. Collaborations with industry giants like Netflix, Disney, and the Gates Foundation underlines Art Studio 928’s remarkable success.

The WBDC’s support, especially through Topshelf, enabled Art Studio 928 to formalize their board and connect with invaluable resources.

At Art Studio 928, the joy of their work goes beyond just their business – it extends to supporting fellow business owners, making their story an inspiring testament to the diverse pathways to success that WBDC fosters through mentorship, resources, and a vibrant team. These success stories illuminate the tangible impact of WBDC’s programs on businesses of all sizes, from startups to seasoned enterprises. Art Studio 928 is a shining example of the transformative power of collaboration, growth, and resilience.
