Florence Hardy will discuss the information you need to start a cannabis or cannabis related business in Illinois. This webinar will provide an overview of the following: Compliance and legal considerations, timeliness and fees, financing options, tax requirements and more.
Florence Hardy is a graduate of Howard University. She has a Juris Doctor degree from John Marshall Law School in Corporate, Transactional and Intellectual Property Law.
The beginning of Florence’s career included working for the City of Chicago in the Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection where her role included guiding business owners through the licensing and compliance process. Past positions held by Florence include the Director of the Small Business Development Center at the Far South Community Development Corporation, as well as the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce.
She is the Chief Executive Officer of truCrowd Illinois, the only security-based crowdfunding platform in Illinois. Florence has significant depth of experience in the Cannabis Industry. She is the Chief Operating Officer of Fundanna, Inc, which is the only marijuana focused crowdfunding platform in the country.
