​With more than 30 years of experience, including 20 years as in-house counsel to the Chicago Department of Water Management, Irene Caminer and Caminer Law serves as legal counsel and advisor on infrastructure projects and programs. As a secondary focus, Irene provides estate planning services after realizing she and her husband had not looked at their estate plan for decades. This year, with the guidance of the WBDC Irene has expanded these services by incorporating state-of-the-art technology and business process improvements to help educate and demystify estate planning. Irene is a 2023 graduate of Goldman Sachs 10KSB Chicago program. She serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Women Business Owners, Chicago Chapter, and is an active member in various organizations. Irene is a member in good standing with the Illinois State Bar, received her JD from IIT Chicago Kent College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She started Caminer Law in 2018 and was thereafter joined by her husband, Brian in 2022.
