Chicago — Building on measures designed to address the unprecedented economic challenges facing Illinois families during the COVID-19 pandemic, Governor JB Pritzker announced a three-month extension of the income tax filing deadline and several new programs to provide more than $90 million in financial relief to small businesses across the state.
As this crisis has evolved, my team and I have worked to protect our residents, workers, and small businesses as they navigate this extremely challenging time,” said Governor JB Pritzker. “Today, I’m announcing that Illinois will delay our tax filing deadline from April 15 to July 15, and by Friday, our small businesses will be eligible for a share of $90 million in state emergency assistance through three new programs.” Read more>>
